Custom Home Builder in McLean, Falls Church and Arlington
I'm Sidd Kashyap, founder of McLean Custom Builders. I've been building custom homes in the Washington, DC region since 1996, on your lot or mine, in McLean, Falls Church, Arlington, and throughout Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland.
My work is high-end residential: new custom homes, whole-house renovations, additions, and accessory dwelling units. I stay directly involved in every project — from the first site walk through the final punch list — and I'm your point of contact throughout. You deal with me, not a rotating cast of managers.
Behind me is a team of contractors and trades I've worked with for years. I direct that team, and I answer for its work.
I hold a Class A Contractor's License in the Commonwealth of Virginia, license number 2705190429, and an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from George Washington University.
What We Build
Custom homes. Design-build, or construction on plans you already hold. From raw land through certificate of occupancy.
Renovations and additions. Whole-house renovations, additions, and ADUs, built to the same standard as our new construction.
Owner's Representative services. If you have already selected a builder, I represent your interests as an independent advisor — reviewing contracts, budgets, and schedules, attending your meetings, and inspecting the work on your behalf. I am paid by you and only by you.
How I Work
I build a budget line by line and share it openly. Schedules are honest, which sometimes means longer than what you have been quoted elsewhere. Questions get answered directly, including the ones with answers you would rather not hear.
The result is a house that holds up — in the materials, in the detailing, and in how it lives ten years from now.
Service Area
We work throughout McLean, Falls Church, Arlington, Vienna, Great Falls, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and the surrounding communities in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland.
